Our Role as Responsible Entity

As the Responsible Entity, Akidna Ltd has a statutory obligation to act in the best interests of investors at all times. We oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the registered schemes, ensuring all fund activities comply with:

The fund’s constitution;
The fund’s compliance plan
The Corporations Act 2001; and
Regulatory guidance set by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

This includes rigorous compliance monitoring, operational due diligence, and adherence to disclosure obligations. All designed to uphold the integrity and transparency of the funds we manage.

Our Role as Custodian

Akidna Custodians Pty Ltd is responsible for securely holding and administering the assets of the funds on behalf of investors. As custodian, our duties include:

Asset segregation and safekeeping;
Transactional oversight;
Ensuring transparency in asset movements;and
Protection of assets and reporting in line with statutory obligations.

These processes help to ensure the security of investor capital and maintain clear records of ownership and control.
